On the ARRM1 campus there are a number of research institutes, belonging to different departments of the CNR, working on the study of the functionality, properties, fundamental knowledge and technological use of matter. Combining expertise in physics with various disciplines such as chemistry, biology and engineering, these groups research new materials for nanotechnologies, microsensors, micro- and nano-devices. <\/span><\/p>\n Researchers on the ARRM1 campus have a long tradition in materials characterization ranging from common laboratory investigations to large-scale characterizations.
