In the ARRM1 campus there are institutes working with the common interest of increasing scientific and technological knowledge in favor of an innovative agrifood system, to ensure food quality and safety, cope with climate change, protect the environment, enhance resources and circularity, and preserve biodiversity.<\/p>\n
The institutes’ expertise is synergistic and integrated, ranging from biology, biochemistry, biophysics, physiology, molecular genetics and plant species biotechnology to organic and analytical chemistry. The studies performed in these institutes are concentrated in the subject areas of agricultural biology and biotechnology, food quality and safety, and sustainable agriculture.
