Since 2016, the project has received political support and financial commitment from the Ministry of University and Research (MUR).
The project strengthens Italy’s position in Europe in the field of Heritage Science and improves its capabilities in technological and scientific fields related to Cultural Heritage.
E-RIHS it aims to integrate state-of-the-art facilities and provide access to a wide range of high-level scientific tools, as well as methodologies and data, to promote knowledge and innovation in cultural heritage conservation.<\/p>\n
It also connects researchers from different organizations and contributes to their mobility, promoting the dissemination and enhancement of national research and technological development.

The node’s laboratories, which are accessed through an annual call for applications, constitute the MOLAB.
