{"id":1337,"date":"2024-06-04T11:50:59","date_gmt":"2024-06-04T09:50:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.arrm1.cnr.it\/prism-2024\/"},"modified":"2024-10-04T14:46:10","modified_gmt":"2024-10-04T12:46:10","slug":"prism-2024","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.arrm1.cnr.it\/en\/prism-2024\/","title":{"rendered":"PRISM 2024"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4><em>Nominations are open for the 2024 Istituto di Struttura della Materia Award &#8211; deadline June 30th<\/em><\/h4><\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"536\" src=\"https:\/\/www.arrm1.cnr.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/Prism-2024-1024x536.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1172\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.arrm1.cnr.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/Prism-2024-980x513.jpg 980w, https:\/\/www.arrm1.cnr.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/Prism-2024-480x251.jpg 480w\" sizes=\"auto, (min-width: 0px) and (max-width: 480px) 480px, (min-width: 481px) and (max-width: 980px) 980px, (min-width: 981px) 1024px, 100vw\" \/><\/figure>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ism.cnr.it\/it\/\"><strong>The CNR-ISM<\/strong><\/a> has established the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ism.cnr.it\/it\/ricerca\/prism-premio-ism.html\">Structure of Matter Institute Prize (PRISM)<\/a><\/strong>, a <strong>prestigious award<\/strong> for <strong>researchers<\/strong> who have made <strong>significant changes<\/strong> in the <strong>field of<\/strong> <strong>Structure<\/strong> of Matter over the <strong>past five years<\/strong>. <strong>PRISM <\/strong>aspires to<strong> promote research<\/strong>, both fundamental and applied, in <strong>the science of materials and matter technologies,<\/strong> for which CNR-ISM wants to become an international reference.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The award <strong>categories<\/strong> are: <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>PRISM Senior<\/strong>: reserved for researchers <strong>over the age of 35<\/strong>. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>PRISM Junior<\/strong>: reserved for researchers <strong>under the age of 35<\/strong>. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Awards and Opportunities <\/strong>for Winners: <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Access to the expertise and infrastructure of CNR-ISM <\/strong>to develop a research project <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Invitation to give a seminar<\/strong> during a workshop, conference or thematic school organized by CNR-ISM. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The selection process involves the <strong>evaluation of the applications by the PRISM committee<\/strong>, <strong>composed of<\/strong> the <strong>winners<\/strong> of <strong>previous<\/strong> <strong>editions of<\/strong> the award and the <strong>Heads of<\/strong> the <strong>CNR-ISM<\/strong> <strong>Offices<\/strong>.
