The event<strong>\u201cSaproxylic Biodiversity in Forests \u2013 How to Integrate Conservation and Management<\/strong>,<strong>\u201d<\/strong>to be held in <strong>June 2026 in Cansiglio<\/strong>, aims to go beyond the scope of a single project by involving experts capable of outlining the state of the art on this topic at the national and European levels.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The event will take place on <strong>June 23 and 24 in Pian del Cansiglio<\/strong> (Belluno), featuring two days of activities consisting of a conference (June 23 \u2013 Hangar Cansiglio) and a hike in the woods (June 24).<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Project <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lifespanproject.eu\/it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">LIFE SPAN<\/a><\/strong> project, coordinated by <strong>Bruno De Cinti<\/strong>, a researcher at the Institute for Terrestrial Ecosystem Research (Montelibretti campus), has developed and tested management solutions designed to <strong>safeguard forest biodiversity<\/strong>, with a particular focus on saproxylic biodiversity.
