Nominations are open for the 2024 Istituto di Struttura della Materia Award – deadline June 30th
The CNR-ISM has established the Structure of Matter Institute Prize (PRISM), a prestigious award for researchers who have made significant changes in the field of Structure of Matter over the past five years. PRISM aspires to promote research, both fundamental and applied, in the science of materials and matter technologies, for which CNR-ISM wants to become an international reference.
The award categories are:
- PRISM Senior: reserved for researchers over the age of 35.
- PRISM Junior: reserved for researchers under the age of 35.
Awards and Opportunities for Winners:
- Access to the expertise and infrastructure of CNR-ISM to develop a research project
- Invitation to give a seminar during a workshop, conference or thematic school organized by CNR-ISM.
The selection process involves the evaluation of the applications by the PRISM committee, composed of the winners of previous editions of the award and the Heads of the CNR-ISM Offices. The committee will develop a ranking list and identify the two winners of the year.
